Soman has been a notary-candidate with Hartman LMH since 2016. Within the team, she focuses on the practice of notarial company law and is primarily occupied with establishing company law structures, reorganizations, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions. She represents and advises both Dutch and international clients, varying from start-ups and family businesses to international companies.

Soman studied notarial law and tax law at Vrije Universiteit (VU) in Amsterdam. During her studies she was a trainee with CMS Derks Star Busmann and also worked for Hogan Lovells International LLP for a number of years. In 2019, she finalized succesfully the professional training programme of the Stichting Beroepsopleiding Notariaat (SBN).

Soman is a member of the Koninklijke Notariële Beroepsorganisatie (KNB, Royal Dutch Association of Civil-law Notaries).

Soman is fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, and has also familiarized herself with the Chinese language (Cantonese) and culture.
